🤔 BEST TIME TO TRAVEL TO TOLEDO

Any time is a good time to travel to Toledo, but we believe that spring is when the temperatures are mild and you can enjoy the in-between seasons.

WHAT TO DO IN TOLEDO

Toledo is a city with an impressive wealth of monuments. Its historic center is enclosed by a wall, on the banks of the Tagus River. Discover the most treasured corners of the Jewish Quarter, visit its spectacular Cathedral, take a stroll from the Puerta del Sol and Puerta de Bisagra to the San Martín Bridge and the Alcántara Bridge, take a photograph from the El Valle viewpoint, explore the historic center, and of course, savor the authentic Toledo cuisine—a true delicacy .

🌮 YOU CAN'T LEAVE TOLEDO WITHOUT TRYING IT

Its cuisine, with Moorish, Sephardic, and Christian influences, is based on hearty, high-quality dishes, many of which feature game and shepherding. From delicious stews, roasts, and fresh vegetables to mouthwatering pastries. We recommend the stewed partridge, Manchego-style fried suckling pig, carcamusa (a meat and vegetable stew), or Toledo-style rice .

👁🗨 CURIOSITIES OF TOLEDO

In 1986, UNESCO inscribed Toledo on the list of World Heritage Cultural Assets "for its landscape values, its geographical environment, the river gorge, the Cigarrales, the Vegas and the viewpoints (La Granja, Virgen de Gracia, Santa Leocadia, San Cristóbal)."

Toledo is known as the City of the Three Cultures because of the coexistence of the three cultures that marked the history of Spain: Christian, Jewish, and Muslim.
